About Such Cookies.
As a child, Such loved cookies and brownies, but cookies were made from refrigerated dough and brownies came from a mix. However, as he grew up, so did his taste in chocolate chip cookies. One day Such’s father cut cookie recipe out of the newspaper for him. The recipe made enough dough for twenty dozen cookies. Such would make the dough, but omit the wet ingredients so that he could store it in batches, effectively making his own mix. Over time, Such altered the recipe and ended up with the recipe that he has used for making cookies ever since.
Once satisfied with his cookies, Such began trying out new brownie recipes, but unfortunately, he was so used to the mix, that nothing tasted right to him. However, after much trial and error, and many thrown away brownies, Such achieved what he looking for in a brownie: a rich chocolate taste and a moist dense texture. This is now his double chocolate chocolate chip brownie and the basis for his other brownie flavors.
Such spent 11 years as a practicing attorney before deciding to leave the profession. With no idea what to do, Such spent a great deal of his time in the kitchen cooking. People often told him to follow his bliss, but in the tradition of not seeing the forest for the tress, Such couldn’t find his; he was too busy in the kitchen. His friends and family would rave about his cookies and brownies, but he never considered selling them. However, after continually tasting other people’s cookies and brownies, and finding them less than good, Such knew what he had to do and Such Cookies! was born. Such found his bliss and he puts that passion into every batch of cookies and brownies he makes.
Such uses only premium ingredients in his baked goods including top quality chocolate and pure vanilla. Such’s cookies and brownies contain no trans fat, no preservatives and no artificial colors.
For now, Such is focused on baking a few items really well. However, once a new flavor meets his satisfaction, and is approved by his tasters, also known as his friends and family, it will make into the menu.
